Hello!!
I have decided to write this blog for the
next three years to share with you guys my university experience and life
lessons that I will learn. Including tips that I will
share, advice and some fashion and beauty. First, a little bit about
myself, I am currently 19 years old, I took a gap year and I
completed the A levels of English Literature, Maths and
Biology. After my gap year, I applied to do law at
a university which I won’t name for privacy issues, but it is in the
UK near London.
On Thursday 18th August, at exactly 08:00 I found out that I got accepted into my first-choice university. I was in the car when I found out, on my way to see my A level results, at 7:59 I was counting the seconds until the UCAS website was live and I could finally click 'log in'. When I found out I was ecstatic, I couldn't believe it, I literally cried tears of joy, I was so shocked. On the days leading up to the results I doubted my likelihood of getting into the university, as many people do when they are nervous which enhanced my shock on the day.
So, what next? I still had to sort out my accommodation and student finance, which for some reason I left for the last minute. I had so much to do with so little time. I applied for student finance that day, which was straight forward and clear. I was so happy with my application for accommodation as well as I have been given a modern looking unsuited room with a double bed right next to the town centre.
To celebrate I had the family over for a mouth-watering tasty Chinese (my favourite food in the whole world) and I had a fancy-dress party that weekend as well (I went as a pirate).
I will keep you updated on the next stages of preparing for university and what I'm packing…. etc. and other experiences that I'll be facing
